How it actually works
Snap a photo of a receipt (or upload one you already have). Within seconds, the amount, merchant, date, and a suggested category are filled in for you. You review each field before anything is saved — nothing is added silently.
Learns your categories, not a generic list
The scanner matches against the categories and items you've already created, and can propose a new one when it sees something it hasn't before. It also flags likely duplicates so the same coffee receipt doesn't get logged twice.
Your data, your call
AI features are opt-in and can be switched off entirely from settings. Only the receipt image itself is sent for scanning — full detail is on the privacy page.
